The Kaboom! Process is a collaborative art project by Søren Dahlgaard and Meir Tati, initiated in 2007 after they met at an international performance competition in Italy. The project has since been exhibited in Denmark, Israel, and Spain, focusing on social engagement, urban intervention, and participatory art.
The Kaboom! Process includes performance art and action painting, emphasizing physical engagement and spontaneous creation. Collaboration is central to The Kaboom! Process, as Dahlgaard’s playful, participatory approach combines with Tati’s focus on social critique and local contexts. Together, they challenge traditional art boundaries, turning creative practice into a tool for dialogue and grassroots activism.
Ultimately, The Kaboom! Process is about action, not exhibitions. It redefines art’s role in communities, exploring how artistic interventions can drive social change and showing that even small acts—like launching a seed bomb or a paint balloon—can make a lasting impact.
