Performing the Camp was filmed at Perm-36, a former Soviet labour camp in the Perm region of Russia, as part of Sharashka, presented at the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion in 2015. The film combines documentary footage of the site’s daily routines with my own actions, which respond to its charged history.
